Description
The Cytiva ÄKTA go is a compact liquid chromatography system designed to make routine protein purification straightforward and efficient, while making the most of limited bench and cold cabinet space. It supports commonly used chromatography techniques, including affinity chromatography, size exclusion chromatography, and ion exchange chromatography, and pairs proven system hardware with Cytiva’s UNICORN control software to work seamlessly with the company’s prepacked columns and chromatography resins. The system’s flow path is engineered to minimize band-broadening effects, supporting high-resolution protein separation, and all wetted materials in the flow path are biocompatible and resistant to commonly used buffers. Its low weight and small footprint (335–464 mm) make it easy to integrate into a wide range of lab environments, and the modular chassis allows users to add up to six optional components — such as extra inlet valves, column valves, a pH valve, an air sensor, and fraction collectors — to tailor the system to specific laboratory workflows. Multiple ÄKTA go units can also be connected in parallel (up to three systems) to purify as many as 15 samples simultaneously, adding valuable throughput flexibility for labs processing multiple purifications at once.
