We offer an assortment of used and refurbished Histology equipment ranging from Tissue Processors, Embedding Centers, Cryostats and Microtomes. Some of our popular manufacturers include Shandon, Reichert Jung, Leica and Microm and Sakura / Tisssue-Tek
Designed to thoroughly soften embedded tissue specimens without creating wrinkles, folds or distortions. One-piece aluminum chamber is easy to clean and won’t leak into electrical component areas. Top ledge of bath allows space for preheating or for evaporating away any remaining water on the glass slides. Chamber is completely encircled by sheathed heater for uniform, broad surface heating. Fiberglass-insulated body prevents heat loss and temperature fluctuations.
Reduce repetitive motions that can contribute to musculoskeletal disorders with the powerful, fully automated Leica RM2255 rotary microtome. Designed for fully motorized sectioning of both paraffin- and the Leica RM2255 in routine and in histology. Its two-in-one design concept, which allows motorized and manual sectioning, provides reproducible high-quality sections.

The Leica RM 2155 microtome is a motorized rotary microtome. The specimen feed system with zero-backlash and maintenance-free cross roller guides and the step motor operated coarse feed system are located in a dust proof plastic housing. The instrument has a safety handwheel with centering handle that can be locked in any position via an electromechanical brake. Section thickness and sectioning speed are selected via control knobs. The instrument is designed and manufactured to conform with strict UL and UDE safety standards.

The Eddy Jet 2 Spiral Plating System is a color screen touch screen fully programmable spiral inoculation instrument with accuracy and reproducibility of greater than 99%. This uses a unique gamma-Irradiated disposable micro-syringe for each new sample, eliminating cross-contamination and the need for a vacuum source or washing steps.
The BenchMark XT platform is for cancer diagnostics professionals who are ready to adopt automation and expand their test menu to include IHC, ISH, and FITC tests. The BenchMark XT system delivers consistent, high-quality results while at the same time improving workflow, flexibility and increasing test volume
The 1512 rotary microtome was especially designed for the preparation of various paraffin-embedded specimens in histology and pathology. High-quality and corrosion-resistant materials. Long service life and lasting sectioning precision. All common knife types up to 170 mm long can be used. Integrated safety guard for maximum safety. Various specimen clamps available. Section thickness range from 1 to 25 um. All controls are placed on the front of the microtome ensuring convenient operation during the setting of section thicknesses, the controlled sectioning of the object and the rapid adjustment of the knife. For precise alignment of the specimen and the knife, the specimen clamp can be tilted through 10 degrees in any direction by means of two knurled screws. Knife moves horizontally towards the specimen, either automatically or manually. Knife can be rapidly adjusted by hand, over a range of 36mm. Each unit is complete with specimen cassette clamp or universal block clamp. Each unit has a standard microtome knife holder. The 1512 ROTARY MICROTOME offers the ability to produce uniform sections of paraffin-embedded materials in demanding routine work. Dimensions: 13 H x 10-1/2 W x 15-1/2 D (handle not attached), Add 3 width if handle is attached, Weight: Approximately 50 lbs.

The Artisan Staining System is a new generation of staining automation, providing you with the flexibility of manual staining coupled with the precision and consistency of automation. The Artisan has the ability to simultaneously perform both special stains and immunohistochemical (IHC) stains in the same run. The reagent carousel with up to 50 reagent packs and the slide carousel with up to 48 slides independently rotate to the position specified by the preprogrammed or customized staining protocols. Slide clips create a reaction chamber which allows the addition of any reagent to any of the 48 slide positions, providing users with the flexibility to load any special stain or IHC procedure in any slide position.
Reagent probe volume capacity: 100uL minimum, 1200uLmaximum
