Benchmark Scientific's BSH6000 IsoBlock dry bath is ideal for incubation of samples at two different temperatures, in a single compact unit. The two chambers of the BSH-6000 are separated by an insulated wall and are controlled independently, allowing IsoBlock to serve as two dry baths in one. The hinged (and removable) lid is also designed with a dividing wall. When closed, this dividing wall acts as a barrier, preventing air transfer between chambers. The BSH 6000 IsoBlock's control panel features large digital displays of both time and temperature. Both settings of a block can be adjusted at any point, without affecting the settings of the other block. The timer function is non-mandatory; IsoBlock can be used for continuous heating. Each incubator is equipped with the SureCheck™ data logging system for verification of chamber temperature. The SureCheck system records temperature data points as often as every 60 seconds and stores this information on a flash drive. The data can then be viewed and saved using the included the SureCheck software. The recorded data can also be used to plot temperature points on a graph or exported to a spreadsheet program for verification or storage/record keeping. Each unit includes a clear plastic cover that provides enhanced temperature uniformity and ramping time. A convenient block lifter is also included, allowing block to be removed from the instrument before they have cooled.
