The EMax Endpoint ELISA Microplate Reader from Molecular Devices, one of the pioneers in microplate detection, offers a ruggedly simple approach to dedicated endpoint assays. A staggering mean time between failure (MTBF) of 20,000 hours is achieved by 97 independent and stationary fiber optics so that the microplate remains stationary during the entire reading cycle, reducing the number of moving parts. No optical alignment needed during the lifetime of the instrument!

The Incu-Mixer MP heated microplate mixer is designed to provide an optimal method for vortexing and incubating microplates. Simultaneous heating from both the bottom surface and the lid provide temperature uniformity throughout the sample. Additionally, the heated lid minimizes evaporation and prevents condensation. A compact, 2mm orbit ensures thorough mixing in microplates without splashing. Speed, time and temperature are all displayed in real time on the large LCD screen while an internal validation system constantly monitors all parameters for accuracy. Designed for application flexibility, the Incu-Mixer series is available in two, and four-plate capacities, both capable of accepting all standard plates up to 40mm high. Independent time, temperature and speed controls allow the mixer to function as 3 machines in one; a multi-plate incubator, vortexer, or a combination of the two. The Incu-Mixer MP series is ideal for a wide variety of molecular biology applications including immunochemical reactions, enzyme and protein analysis, and microarray analysis.

Multiskan Spectrum makes getting results easier, replacing separate spectrophotometers and microplate reading instruments by providing both functions in one convenient, compact instrument. The Multiskan Spectrum is truly two instruments in one, combining both cuvette reading capabilities and advanced microplate reading in one convenient, compact instrument. You can easily take quick absorbance measurements in a cuvette between the cycles of a microplate enzyme kinetics experiment.
For maximum flexibility, Multiskan Spectrum accepts all microplate for mats from 6- to 384-wells, as well as cuvettes from standard to ultra micro capacities in glass, plastic, or quartz. You can take multiple photometric readings per well on large format plates, or single measure ments requiring just 30 μl in 384-well plates.
Scanning range of 200 – 1000 nm. The built-in monochromator makes it simple to select any wavelength from 200 nm to 1000 nm in 1 nm steps without ever changing a filter. Sample absorbances can be scanned over the whole spectrum either in microplates or cuvettes.

General Specifications
Made for use with the S-4-104 rotor and comes in a set of two.
Specifications:
Benchmark’s PlateFuge™ is the first “mini” sized centrifuge with a swing out rotor for microplates. Centrifuging plates before PCR ensures all reactants are in the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and improved yields. In spite of its remarkably small footprint (9×10 in.), the PlateFuge™ includes a uniquely designed, swing out rotor (patent pending) capable of securing 2 microplates. The easily accessible rotor chamber includes two plate carriers that rest at a 75° angle. This allows plates to be inserted confidently without sealing tapes or caps. Upon closing the lid of the centrifuge, the rotor accelerates and the centrifugal force “swings” the plates into a horizontal position. Any droplets on the walls of the plate quickly concentrate into the well bottoms. With a g-force of 600 xg, most samples can be spun down in less than 20 seconds. To end a run, simply open the lid and the automatic, electric brake brings the rotor to a quick, smooth stop in just 4 seconds. Plates can then be easily removed from the rotor.
