The Decloaking Chamber is a programmable benchtop pressure cooker intended for laboratory use. It is programmed to allow the precise pressurized heating necessary for antigen retrieval and also has the capability to perform at a variety of temperatures ranging from 37 °C to 125 °C. The Decloaking Chamber is an excellent tool for heat-induced epitope-retrieval (HIER) methods. The proper use of heat and pressure in conjunction with the appropriate buffer solutions is of the utmost importance for consistent immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining. The Decloaking Chamber is designed to optimize and standardize antibody staining procedures and has been engineered to pass strict laboratory safety requirements. Temperature, pressure and pH can be monitored and recorded with the Decloaking Chamber to produce consistent staining, which will reduce repeat testing and false negatives.
Rugged, high-performance baths maintain water temperature from ambient to 95°C or 99.9°C (depending on model) with ±0.2°C uniformity (at 37°C) and ±0.1°CÂ control resolutionÂ (at 37°C) with stainless-steel gable cover.

These accurate and reliable chambers are ideal for long-term high temperature and relative humidity (RH) testing. Designed to provide a wide range of environments, these units are suitable for both industrial and biotechnology specification testing, specifically continuous-duty projects. All models are equipped with a gentle horizontal air flow system, which ensures stable, top-to-bottom temperature and RH uniformity. Low temperature models 9005L and 9010L feature CFC-free refrigerant. Relative humidity range may vary depending on temperature set point. Digitally set, microprocessor temperature and humidity controllers allow precise setting with direct digital read-out in degrees and percentage RH. The over-temperature safety control prevents possible damage to samples or equipment. A vapor generator compresses moisture and injects it into the chamber to provide controlled humidification. Automatic water level control maintains liquid level in humidity reservoir. Pressure coupling allows for easy hook-up of in-line plumbing or a carboy of distilled water. All units feature interior drain.

The VWR 1500E Incubator is a 1 cubic foot incubator with a temperature range of 5° above ambient to 70°C. Temperature uniformity is ±0.5° at 37°C. The VWR 1500E series was designed for routine small incubation loads utilizing gravity convection. The stainless steel chamber design minimizes heat loss while maximizing uniformity.
Heating elements in all three walls, bottom, and door create a warm air jacket around the inner chamber to guarantee superior temperature uniformity with no hot spots. Warm air jacket design also provides quick temperature recovery—and there’s a full-length inner glass door for viewing specimens without disturbing the chamber atmosphere. No need to worry about heater element damage from spills either—the inner chamber is tack-welded, and the low-watt density heating elements are safely isolated from the work chamber.
