The new Gene Pulser II system is a completely redesigned electroporation system, which offers improved performance, flexibility, sample protection, and safety. The Gene Pulser II system uses the Pulse Trac waveform delivery system to generate the most accurate exponential decay pulses possible for optimal cell transformation within an electroporation cuvette. The Pulse Trac delivery system accurately calculates the time constant of each pulse based on what is actually delivered to the sample.

The Rainin HPXL Solvent Delivery System consists of two binary pump gradient liquid chromatographic systems. One of the systems uses biocompatible (titanium) pump heads, injection valve and mixer. Two detectors are available: a single (variable) wavelength high sensitivity UV/Visible detector and a dual wavelength UV/Vis detector. A 900 nanoliter flow cell is available for the dual wavelength detector for low flow applications.

The ImageQuant LAS 4000 is a camera system for producing digital images of gel or membrane samples or films. It is used together with the ImageQuant LAS 4000 Control Software to:
• Expose chemiluminescent samples or membranes.
• Expose fluorescent samples using epi (incident) or trans (transmitted) light sources, for example gels stained by ethidium bromide (EtBr). The ImageQuant LAS 4000 can be supplied with NIR, Red, Green, Blue and UV epi lights.
• Expose dye-stained gels and membranes or films using epi or trans illumination.
• Expose a sample repeatedly, incrementally or by programming exposure schemes.

The LASOS® Ar-Ion lasers cover a broad spectrum in the blue and green spectral range, with emission lines from 454 nm to 514 nm, in single-wavelength and multiwavelength versions with output powers up to 225 mW. For photo printing applications in the AGFA d-lab.2 and d-lab.3 printers, a dual line laser with emission at 454/ 458 nm and 514 nm has been developed, showing an excellent beam quality, beam pointing stability and long-term stability with low-noise operation. All laser tubes have an internal mirror, vacuum-tight hard-sealed and integrated resonator construction optimizing the life time and power stability. The laser mirrors are adjusted and fixed by a special, proprietary technology providing maintenance-free operation and no need for readjustment in the field. The LASOS laser modules are compact, economical and are available with several cooling options. All laser models can be provided with OEM power supplies, designed to meet the European and American standards with availability of approvals and certificates CDRH, IEC, CSA, CE, TÜV, UL.
Pipetting all 96 wells at once simplifies micro-volume applications like ELISA, cellular assays, qPCR and protein crystallization. With greater accuracy and precision, Mettler Toledo’s Rainin Liquidator 96 streamlines any 96-well or 384-well plate application. It is compact, requires no electricity and comes in two volume ranges – 0.5 to 20 uL and 5 to 200 uL. And because it is a manual device, Liquidator 96 is easy to use and requires virtually no training.
The Mini Gel Tank is compatible with a variety of Novex mini gels, NuPAGE mini gels, and Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels. Each Mini Gel Tank can accommodate up to two gels per run. The unique tank design enables convenient side-by-side gel loading and enhanced viewing during use. Optimized conditions using constant voltage allow for Bolt Bis-Tris Plus gels to be run in approximately 35 minutes. Run times may vary depending on buffer conditions and power supplies being used.
