Incubating microplate shakers are ideal for cell cultures, hybridizations, and suspensions.
Microprocessor PID temperature controller maintains precise temperature control from 5° above ambient to 65°C (149°F). The triple eccentric drive features permanently lubricated ball bearings. The maintenance-free, brushless DC motor provides a long service life. A Lexan® polycarbonate lid permits viewing of samples from all sides without disturbing internal temperature. Platform dimensions: 19.7Wx27.9Dcm (73/4x11"). Optional microtube rack attaches to platform to hold 1.5 mL or 2 mL microtubes and has a capacity of 70 tubes. Units with opaque lid are designed for light sensitive samples. Easy-to-use controls allow user to adjust temperatures in 1°C increments. Built-in timer with LED display will show elapsed time, or, when programmed to user-defined limit, will count down to zero and shut off unit. Audible alarm sounds when time reaches zero. Holds four microplates or two microtube racks.

Accommodates 96 well microplates and 8 well strips. Typical speed is 105 seconds/plate (3 wash cycles, no soak). 75 user identified programs. Wash methods include bottom washing, double aspiration and multi-speed/amplitude shaking. Select 1 to 9 wash cycles. Liquid flow-through pump 50 to 3000 uL. Soak settings: 0 to 999 seconds in 1 second increments. Vacuum pump: 2 gal (8 L)/min (suction efficiency: 1 to 6 uL per well). In sequential mode, washer performs the first programmed step on every row you specify and then executes each succeeding step, row-by-row until finished. In Repeat Strip Mode, the entire program is performed on the first row of wells, then repeated on the next row of wells (Strip mode reduces carryover of highly concentrated samples).
