We offer an assortment of used and refurbished Hoods ranging from Biosafety Cabinets, Laminar Flow Hoods and Fume Hoods to Glove Boxes. Some of our popular manufacturers include Baker, Labconco, Thermo Forma, Nuaire, Plas-Labs and Sheldon.
Paramount filtered enclosures are self-contained work stations that use carbon filters to remove unsafe concentrations of organic solvents, formaldehyde, acid gases or ammonia from the work area. Contaminants released within the enclosure are drawn through a rear baffle, diluted with air and adsorbed onto or treated by a carbon filter.

The Parker 20H high purity hydrogen gas generators offer the optimum combination of safe operation, reliability and performance. Utilising field proven PEM cell technology, hydrogen is produced on demand from deionised water and electricity, at low pressure and with minimal stored volume. Innovative control software allows unrivalled operational safety and reliability. The H generators ideally supply fuel gas to all known GC combustion detectors used in today’s laboratory workflows. Three models operate at flow rates; 160 ml/min, 250 ml/min and 500 ml/min. Hydrogen generators are available with Remote Networking software. RemoteNet allows up to 27 hydrogen generators to be actively controlled from one central PC, and facilitates true cascading capabilities.
Specification:
Model 3300 ELSD is designed for use with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems to analyze any sample compound that has sufficiently lower volatility than the mobile phase. Some of its possible application areas include carbohydrates, pharmaceuticals, lipids, triglycerides, underivatized fatty and amino acids, polymers, surfactants, nutraceuticals, and combinatorial libraries. Evaporative light scattering detection eliminates common problems associated with other HPLC detectors. Refractive Index (RI) detectors can be complicated by solvent front interferences, baseline instability, and gradient incompatibility. RI detectors can also have a less sensitive response than ELSD. Low-wavelength UV can suffer baseline drift with steep gradients and also requires that the analyte contains a chromophore. ELSD does not have these limitations. It can achieve stable baselines with multisolvent gradients for improved resolution and faster separations. Also, since ELSD response does not depend on the sample’s optical characteristics, the sample does not require a chromophore or fluorophore for detection.

AirClean® Systems AC600 Series PCR Workstations combine ISO 5 HEPA-filtered air with UV light irradiation for the ultimate DNA/RNA manipulation and amplification work area. Cross-contamination during amplification of DNA and RNA can lead to results that are inaccurate, costing the lab technician valuable time and reagents. PCR Workstations minimize this risk by keeping airborne contaminants away from samples and irradiating work surfaces and tools between amplifications.
