The Mx3000P real-time PCR system is a fully integrated real-time PCR detection system. The system includes a state-of-the-art thermal cycler, a quartz-tungsten halogen lamp to excite fluorescence, a photomultiplier tube for high-sensitivity detection, and real-time quantitative detection and analysis software. With the Mx3000P real-time PCR system, monitoring PCR in real time is fast, easy, and reliable. The Mx3000P system has an open format that allows closed-tube real-time PCR detection with many detection chemistries including SYBR® Green dye and fluorogenic probe systems. The Mx3000P system supports both real-time and plate-read experiments.

The software features a variety of specific experiment types with customized plate setup, thermal profile setup, and analysis screens that streamline the process of collecting and analyzing data for specific applications. The MJ Research PTC-100 is a robust thermocycler that provides solutions for various temperature configuration needs. This instrument comes in versions that use of 96-well or 60-well microplates, as well as a heated lid for oil-free operation. The Hot Bonnet heated lid fitted in each unit has a thumbwheel that allows for the convenient adjustment of height and pressure. The modification feature ensures the tight sealing of reaction vessels ¬and microplates ¬ during oil-free thermal cycling.

 

96 Well Block

The Precise Peltier-effect heat pumps of PTC-100 thermocyclers were crafted to withstand repeated cycling. Any temperature sequence can be cycled up to 10,000 times. The NIST-traceable calibration feature of this instrument allows for the indefinite storing of material at any temperature. As a result, incubation rates are highly accurate. This calibration feature is also responsible for the refrigeration of results after unsupervised runs.

 

Data storage is secured and hassle-free with MJ Research PTC-100 thermocyclers. Memory stores approximately 320 programs, and the cycler comes with 14 pre-programmed protocols. Any sequence of temperatures can be cycled up to 10,000 times. Ramping rates less than maximum can also be specified. Data which were not properly stored due to power interruptions are safe for up to twelve hours with the PTC-100's power-failure protection feature.

Benchmark's TC-32 Mini Thermal Cycler retains the advanced programming features, easy to use software and fast, reliable cycling of the larger TC-9639 Thermal Cycler, but with a smaller block and lower price point. Designed for lower throughput needs, the TC-32 Mini Thermal Cycler has a capacity for 32x0.2ml tubes. The wells are arranged in a 4x8 format, allowing the block to accept strips of 8 as well as individual tubes. The block heats and cools very quickly - at rates as fast as 5°C/second. A proprietary algorithm controls block temperature, bringing samples quickly to the target temperature without any over- or under-shoot. Excellent block uniformity ensures consistency sample to sample. The heated lid is self adjusting - the spring loaded platen in the lid comes firmly into contact with the tops of the tubes to prevent sample evaporation and condensation. There are no knobs to turn or levers to adjust. The temperature of the heated lid can be changed or the heating function of the lid may be turned off.
