Description
The Agilent 1290 Infinity II Bio Multisampler (G7137A) is a biocompatible autosampler designed for high-throughput biomolecule analysis. Its bio-inert sample flow path minimizes unwanted surface interactions, preserving the integrity of proteins and other sensitive biomolecules during sample introduction. It’s a core component of Agilent’s Bio LC System platform and is built for high-precision, high-capacity sample handling.
Features:
- Biocompatible flow path: preserves biomolecule integrity and minimizes unwanted surface interactions, ideal for protein and CQA (critical quality attribute) analysis
- High capacity: houses up to 6,144 samples within the standard Agilent LC stack footprint
- Multipurpose sample handling: accommodates both vials and microplates
- High-pressure injection: injects at pressures up to 1300 bar
- Cartesian robotic transport: X-Y-Z drive system optimizes sample tray and needle handling, with an uncoupled needle design that lets the robot perform other liquid-handling tasks during analysis
- Active vial/plate pusher: holds vials or plates steady during needle withdrawal, useful when using septum-sealed containers
- Optional thermostatting: compressor-based cooling device available for temperature-sensitive samples (4–40 °C range)
- Optimized performance: built for highest chromatographic performance in UHPLC workflows
Specifications:
- Injection Pressure: Up to 1300 bar
- Sample Capacity: Up to 6,144 samples
- Sample Containers Supported: Vials and microplates
- Transport Mechanism: Cartesian robot (X-Y-Z drive)
- Temperature Range (optional thermostat): 4–40 °C
- Carryover: Multiwash capability reduces carryover to less than 9 ppm
