The Bio-Rad ChemiDoc MP Imaging System is a full-featured gel and blot imaging platform designed for sensitive, high-resolution detection and quantification of nucleic acids and proteins. It is built to address multiplex fluorescent western blotting, chemiluminescence detection, general gel documentation applications, and stain-free technology imaging needs. The system uses CCD high-resolution, high-sensitivity detection technology paired with modular illumination and filter options to accommodate a wide range of sample types and detection methods. The unit includes an internal computer, 12-inch touch-screen display, supercooled CCD camera, and Image Lab Touch Software, making it a self-contained, all-in-one solution for molecular biology imaging workflows.
