Description
The Mission Bio Tapestri Platform is a single-cell multi-omics instrument capable of simultaneously providing both genotype and phenotype data from the same cell, across thousands of single cells. It uses microfluidic droplet technology to combine barcoding beads anchored to gene-specific primers, providing a high-throughput single-cell genomics workflow for targeted DNA sequencing. The instrument first encapsulates single cells and performs cell barcoding, then subjects barcoded cells to targeted multiplex PCR, generating Illumina-compatible libraries for downstream next-generation sequencing. It does not sequence DNA itself — it prepares single-cell libraries for sequencing on a separate NGS system.
Features:
- True multiomic resolution: Detects SNVs, indels, focal and genome-wide CNVs, loss of heterozygosity (LOH), translocations, and surface protein expression, all from the same single cell.
- Two-step microfluidic workflow: DNA/protein isolation happens in step one, followed by targeted multiplex PCR in step two.
- Flexible panel options: Supports pre-designed catalog panels (e.g., AML, CLL) or fully custom panels targeting 20–500 amplicons.
- Protein co-detection: Compatible with oligo-conjugated antibodies (e.g., from BioLegend) for concurrent protein measurement alongside DNA.
- Integrated software pipeline: Seamlessly plugs into existing NGS workflows via companion Tapestri Pipeline and Insights software for data analysis and visualization.
- Broad sample compatibility: Works with PBMCs, bone marrow aspirate-derived mononuclear cells, and nuclei from solid tumors.
