The Taylor Wharton LABS-40K is a large-capacity liquid nitrogen cryogenic storage system designed for long-term biobanking of cell lines, tissue samples, and other biological materials, with room for up to 41,600 2mL vials. As part of the LABS (Laboratory Archival Biological Storage) Series, it’s engineered for very low LN2 consumption and highly stable near-liquid-nitrogen temperatures at the top of the inventory system, helping protect sample viability over extended storage periods. It supports both liquid and vapor phase storage, and its single pivot point aluminum turntable design offers smooth, ergonomic rotation with no mechanical components to maintain. A hinged, lockable stainless steel-topped lid with automatic defog functionality makes it easy to view and manage inventory, while the flat tabletop doubles as a convenient work surface. This model was formerly branded CryoScience by Taylor-Wharton, following the company’s acquisition by Worthington Industries.
