Description
Andrew+ is a compact liquid handling robot designed to fit inside most Class II biosafety cabinets (BSCs) and on standard benches. Even with two full rows of Dominos (up to 7 plates, 56 conical tubes, or 168 microtubes), it only requires ~55 cm (22″) of depth, making it compatible with smaller hoods. In addition to pipetting liquids, the Andrew+ liquid handler can perform a wide range of complex experimental steps such as tube/plate transport or solid-phase extraction using vacuum
Features:
- Electronic Pipettes: Supports both single channel and multi-channel pipettes, allowing quick and large volume batching as well as high precision transfers.
- Tool Rack: Houses multiple tools, allowing seamless swapping between various tools, like pipettes or labware grippers.
- Vision and Scanners: Robotic arm is equipped with an LED light, camera, and laser allowing the scanning of QR codes along with other benefits like verifying pipet tip geometries
- Compact Footprint: Weighs 16kg, and measures in at 43.5 x 45.5 x 53.5 (in cm) with arms folded, which allows the product to fit on standard lab tables and biosafety cabinets.
