Large-capacity, forced hot-air circulation units, the CTO-20A/20AC HPLC column ovens precisely regulate the temperature around the column. Automatic fan-speed control varies with the set temperature to provide stable analysis that is not influenced by the ambient temperature.

CTO-20AC - Column Cooling Supported

 

The CTO-20AC can heat and cool the column compartment, utilizing a Peltier cooling device to provide sub-ambient conditions. Temperature control is regulated over a wide range, from 10ºC below room temperature to 85ºC, for increased reproducibility and separation performance.

The Agilent 1200 Series Dual Loop Autosampler is a fixed loop sampler with two different sample loops. As a consequence of this design the metering device, also referred to as syringe, is not a part of the solvent flow path from pump to HPLC column. An additional flush solvent bottle is used to rinse this part of the hydraulic path after each injection. In order to minimize carryover, the sampler is equipped with a needle wash function which dips the needle into a wash vial or the wash port.
