Description
The Agilent 1260 Infinity II Bio Flexible Pump (G7131C) is a bio-inert quaternary LC pump designed for applications involving biomolecules, proteins, and other samples sensitive to metal-ion interactions. Its wetted flow path uses non-metallic materials, making it well suited for high-salt, wide pH-range separations where steel components could degrade sample integrity or corrode over time. It’s part of Agilent’s Infinity II Flexible Pump platform, which supports both low- and high-pressure gradient formation in a single module.
Features:
- Bio-inert flow path: steel-cladded PEEK capillaries keep the flow path free of steel while maintaining pressure stability, protecting biomolecules from unwanted metal-surface interactions
- Corrosion resistance: resistant to corrosion from high salt concentrations (2 M) and can handle a wide pH range from 1–13, with short-term tolerance up to pH 14
- Flexible gradient formation: enables gradient formation and solvent blending from up to four solvents, supporting both quaternary low-pressure and binary high-pressure mixing modes
- High precision solvent delivery: delivers high accuracy and precision for solvent flow and composition
- Fast solvent changeover: uses AF technology for fast change-over of solvents when purging the pump
- Built-in seal wash: active seal-wash increases system uptime
- Advanced automation: supports System Emulation Technology (ISET) and automated buffer blending
- Ideal for protein and biomolecule (NBE) characterization workflows
