  • The Millipore Milli-Q Synthesis A-10 water purification system delivers type 1, ultrapure water for your applications thatÂ’s pyrogen and RNase free. Applications such as ELISA tests, electrophoresis gel make-up and serum-based cell and tissue culture media perpetration, affinity chromatography, and protein and nucleic acid isolation. The Synthesis system takes pretreated water (either through EDI, Reverse Osmosis, Distillation or Deionization, and pumps it through the Q-Guard cartridge, then passes the water under UV lights at two wavelengths, 185 and 254nm. Organic compounds are oxidized and bacteria is destroyed. The Quantum cartridge then filters out the trace ions and oxidation by products. Purified water is then sent through an ultrafiltration module, and finally through a filter membrane that removes any particles or bacteria greater than 0.22µm in size.
  • The Millipore Milli-q Synthesis A-10 includes a built in A-10 total organic carbon (TOC) monitor, high-precision resistivity meter, while providing complete monitoring of water quality throughout the process. As the process proceeds, the water quality and operation data is recorded in system memory. This Millipore water filter uses a backlit display to show resistivity and TOC Levels in addition to other system functions, for easy monitoring.
  • The Millipore Milli-q Synthesis A-10 has a flowrate of up to 1 liter per minute.

    The new Vi-CELL Series Cell Viability Analyzers provide an automatic and cost effective means to perform the trypan blue dye exclusion method. This data is essential to the decision making process for basic tissue culture cell passage and maintaining optimum culture conditions in bioreactors.     The Vi-CELL automates the widely accepted trypan blue cell exclusion method. Historically, cell viability determinations were performed manually using a light microscope and hemacytometer. In comparison to the manual technique, the Vi-CELL automatically performs the trypan blue with video imaging of the flow-through cell. Results are obtained in minutes.
